First Nations

Problems facing native First Nations People are worsened by intergenerational trauma and sub-standard socioeconomic conditions, which in turm, take a toll on family, spousal and parent-child relationships.

The Centre has been treating First Nations People suffering from depression, addictions and other chronic mental health and family issues for over 30 years. We are authorized service providers to First Nations by the First Nations & Inuit Health Branch at Health Canada and as such they are covered for therapy at this Centre.
